The DC Blocks and Bias Tees have been designed and optimized for optical communications and other high speed pulse, data, or microwave applications. The Tapered Coils are designed for broadband microwave applications since the coils are tapered to reduce the resonant loss and can be used as a Bias Tee where high impedance is required.
