The Cell Master™ from Anritsu is a comprehensive instrument that combines all of the tools required to simplify the job of deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting wireless base stations. A single, lightweight, handheld, battery-operated package, the Cell Master™ combines the functionality of a cable and antenna analyzer, spectrum analyzer, power meter, transmitter analyzer (CDMA, GSM and iDEN), transmission analyzer for 2-port devices, interference analyzer, GPS Antenna Tester and T1/E1 analyzer. Cell Master demodulates CDMA2000 1xRTT signals displaying code domain power, pilot power, channel power, frequency error, waveform quality (rho), pilot time tolerance (tau), Pilot Ec/Io and carrier feed through. Cell Master demodulated CDMA2000 1xEV-DO signals displaying code domain power as Mac code power or data code power screens. CDMA2000 1xRTT and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Over The Air (OTA) measurement provides a cost effective way to identify base station performance problems before they become catastrophic without taking the base station off the air.

Cell Master demodulates iDEN signals displaying Main Channel Power, individual sub channel powers, frequency error, Demod-SQE, EVM of overall signal and individual sub channel EVMs, slot power and Duty Cycle. The Cell Master also displays the spectrum of the signal, power vs. time and the constellation of the demodulated signal.
